According to Titans head coach Mike Vrabel, the team’s annual joint practices against the Bucs will likely continue this summer. Only this year, the Bucs will be on the move to Nashville. Tampa Bay has previously held joint practices with the Dolphins in 2019, the Titans in 2021 and 2018 and the Jaguars in 2016 and 2017. Joint practices in 2020 were scrapped due to COVID.

This will be the third joint practice week between the Bucs and Titans. Back in August of 2021, the Titans came to Tampa Bay for three days of intense on-field work. But the sessions resulted in several brawls, including a few full unit fights. Obviously fights are fairly common during training camp, but last year’s practices were wild even by those standards.
The Titans will return one of the top teams in the AFC, after finishing the regular season as the conference’s top seed. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill will be joined by weapons A.J. Brown and Robert Woods, who should be a great test for the Bucs secondary. Last year, neither Brown or Julio Jones participated in the joint practice week due to injury. Neither did running back Derrick Henry. As a result, the Bucs defense mostly dominated the sessions.
Dates for the practices have not yet been announced.
