After entering the NFL’s concussion protocol last Wednesday, forcing him to miss the Bucs’ Week 2 match-up against the Carolina Panthers, head coach Bruce Arians confirmed on Monday that wide receiver Chris Godwin has been cleared to play this upcoming Sunday against the Denver Broncos.
“Chris passed the protocol, he’s ready to go,” Arians said. “The one thing that we know is how sure-handed he is. He’s not going to drop too many, if any. We’re looking forward to having him back.”
#Bucs head coach Bruce Arians said that Chris Godwin has cleared concussion protocol and WILL play at Denver in Week 3.
