Despite starting 2026 by getting back into the win column, Slivon shares how it was too little too late and did not matter. As the last game of the season, it is worth analyzing what happened; however, the broader picture is what’s next for the franchise. Will head coach Todd Bowles stay or should he go? Bowles was the one steering an underwhelming ship. The Glazers could give him another season at the helm, but is he the guy?

Assessing what happened during a rainy Saturday at Raymond James Stadium, Slivon points to the physicality and effort finally being there. That helped Tampa Bay limit Carolina’s offense and come up with two big takeaways. With Lavonte David getting one of them, it was a fitting conclusion to a career that is likely over. Slivon went over the elite company he joined with two statistical accomplishments. Moreover, the offense failed to reach the heights of last year and even this season, with another question looming of whether or not Josh Grizzard remains offensive coordinator, regardless of what happens to Bowles.
