Pewter Report publishes the latest NFL Mock Drafts on Mondays. Find out who some of the top draft websites have the Bucs picking in the first round. Some mock drafts go deeper and have multiple rounds.
Pro Football Focus’ Austin Gayle
No. 27 – Buccaneers – Minnesota OLB Boye Mafe
Mafe is a wildly explosive player with a high pass-rushing ceiling at the next level. At 6-foot-3 and 261 pounds, the former Minnesota edge defender tested at the 87th percentile or better in the 10-yard split (1.59s), 40-yard dash (4.53s), vertical jump (38”) and broad jump (92”).

No. 27 – Buccaneers – Boston College G Zion Johnson
Filling the void left by Ali Marpet, Johnson is tasked with keeping the G.O.A.T. upright in his Age 45 season.
CBS Sports’ Ryan Wilson
No. 27 – Buccaneers – Georgia DT Devonte Wyatt
Wyatt is another player who changed some minds with his Senior Bowl week and he continued to convince folks of his first-round talents by putting on a show at the combine. Incredibly quick off the snap and powerful once he gets going, he can be unstoppable when he’s on his game.
The Draft Network’s Brentley Weismann
No. 27 – Buccaneers – Boston College G Zion Johnson
With the loss of Alex Cappa, the Buccaneers have a bit of a hole at right guard. The team traded for Shaq Mason to replace Ali Marrpet and now with the addition of Zion Johnson here in the draft, this offensive line won’t skip a beat. Johnson is an athletic and powerful guard who plays with outstanding technique. He is a plug-and-play player inside and will allow Tom Brady time to shred defenses.
