Things were not looking great for the Bucs in the first half by allowing 24 unanswered points after scoring on the opening drive. But a forced fumble by Ndamukong Suh late in the half and a touchdown three plays later sparked the put the Bucs down 24-14 and sparked the comeback.
Tom Brady threw for five touchdown passes in the game, playing lights out in the second half. Mike Evans played on an injured ankle and was the best offensive player for the Bucs, while Ronald Jones was great on the ground, but made a ton of drops. And of course, you can’t forget how well the offensive line played.
This wasn’t the best performance for the Bucs’ defense, particularly in the secondary as they were burned on same deep plays. With the game on the line though, they came up big and sealed the victory on a Carlton Davis interception. There’s a whole lot to break down, and you can hear it all on the Pewter Report Podcast.
