Wolford, who had been harassed by the Jaguars pass rush since entering the game to begin the second half, finally succumbed to the onslaught when linebacker Yasir Abdullah hit Wolford hard on a pass to tight end Sal Cannella.
Abdullah was flagged for roughing the passer on the play for lowering his helmet and leading with it on the hit. Wolford was able to walk off the field on his own after trainers attended to him for a couple of minutes. Second-string quarterback Kyle Trask, who started the game, returned to finish out the game for the Bucs.
After the game, head coach Todd Bowles shared an update on what type of injury he thinks the veteran quarterback sustained.
