The Bucs had a scary moment at practice today as running backs coach Skip Peete had a medical episode that required paramedics to be called. Tampa Bay had a walk through practice and were inside when it occurred. Tampa Bay's PR staff notified media that Peete was alert, responsive and stable as an ambulance took him to a local hospital.

Skip Peete has been with the Bucs since 2023 and he's in the midst of his third season with the Bucs. He's coached up the likes of Rachaad White for the majority of his career and played a big role in Bucky Irving's sensational rookie season last year.

Following practice head coach Todd Bowles and quarterback Baker Mayfield spoke on Peete.

"Right now he's coherent," Bowles said. "He's doing fine. They're still running tests right now. Preliminarily, dehydrated."

"It's definitely scary," Mayfield said. "Luckily he was alert after and kind of making some jokes. So, that that's good. But in the moment, yeah, it's much bigger than the game of football, especially when you come in to work every day with teammates, coaching staff, everybody in the building, it's just when something like that happens to somebody close to you, it puts things perspective."
