The Bucs’ rookie cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting hit the ground in the second quarter of Tampa Bay’s game against the Falcons on Sunday, holding his right leg.

The injury was suffered away from the play and Murphy-Bunting remained on the field as he was tended to by trainers. While he was able to make it off the field under his own power, the second-round pick out of Central Michigan immediately made his way to the locker room.

More information will be reported as it’s made available.

UPDATE: The injury was later announced as an ankle injury and Murphy-Bunting was ruled out for the remainder of the game.
