The Bucs have ruled out Antonio Brown for Sunday’s match up against the New Orleans Saints.
#Bucs HC Bruce Arians says that Antonio Brown is OUT for the game. The door is still open for Dee Delaney.
Lavonte David, Gronk and Richard Sherman all have a chance to play.

Brown injured his ankle in Week 6 against the Eagles. He finished the game but missed the Week 7 matchup versus the Bears. The veteran wide receiver was seen observing practice this week with a crutch in hand. As the Bucs head into their bye week after Sunday, the hope is Brown will able to return thereafter. Head coach Bruce Arians said they do not envision putting Brown on injured reserve. Tyler Johnson will get the nod for the second week in a row.
Arians did say the door remains open for corner Dee Delaney to play Sunday. Delaney injured his ankle last week against the Bears in the third quarter and did not return. Available to the media after the game, Delaney said he would be good to go for the Week 8 matchup. He did not practice Wednesday or Thursday.
The Bucs could be getting some key players back however. Rob Gronkowski, Richard Sherman, and Lavonte David are all expected to play. The Bucs have missed Gronkowski on offense since Week 4, after a rib injury and punctured lung suffered against the Rams. David left the game against the Dolphins with an ankle injury and hasn’t played since. While Sherman has been sidelined since injuring his hamstring in the first series against the Eagles. Getting all three players back will be a big boost for a banged up Bucs team looking for a big divisional win.
