With the Bucs having been dealt a series of blows along the offensive line, they have countered by making some moves as they tend to their wounds before Sunday's Week 3 game against the Jets.

It has already been reported, but Tampa Bay has officially put right guard Cody Mauch and right tackle Luke Goedeke on injured reserve. Mauch is out for the season with a knee injury, but for Goedeke, his stay on injured reserve will be comparatively short-lived, as the hope is that it will only be for the minimum of four games. The earliest return for the recently extended Goedeke will be Week 7, when the team faces the Lions.

With two starting offensive linemen down, the Bucs have moved quickly to fill their 53-man roster spots. ESPN's Adam Schefter provided the latest update on Thursday afternoon, announcing that they have officially signed Dan Feeney off the Bills' practice squad while also promoting Luke Haggard from the practice squad. To top it off, Sua Opeta has also returned, taking Haggard's practice squad spot.

The Bucs' Offensive Line Shuffle Continues

If all of the Bucs' offensive line news is overwhelming, it is understandable.

So much injury news has come out within the last 24 hours, with no positive updates to report on. Heading into Sunday's game, it appears that the Bucs will be without three starters upfront, as outside of Cody Mauch and Luke Goedeke, left tackle Tristan Wirfs is likely another week away from making his season debut.

What has transpired leaves uncertainty about how things will shake out. With left guard Michael Jordan not practicing Thursday and Luke Haggard getting the active roster spot over him, one has to wonder Jordan's status for the game. If he cannot go, things only get more complicated. One would expect Graham Barton and Ben Bredeson to remain at left tackle and center until Wirfs' return, while Charlie Heck is penciled in at right tackle.

The guard situation is tricky. If Jordan is good to go, he will be elevated for the third and final time to play at left guard before the team has to decide whether or not to sign him for the rest of the season. That would leave Haggard or Elijah Klein as the right guard.

Otherwise, Haggard or Sua Opeta would be the top left guard options, with Klein playing his natural position on the right side. None of this includes Dan Feeney, as it is unlikely he gets the starting nod so soon after joining the team and learning the system.

The Bucs are still adjusting to the aftermath of everything that has happened as they pick up the pieces and attempt to re-form the offensive line. Now more than ever the "next man up" mantra rings home. With players being added and removed so quickly, it leaves the picture unfinished. The first look at what it truly looks like will come on Sunday afternoon, with the team hoping to get off to 3-0 start facing the 0-2 Jets at Raymond James Stadium.
