With cutdown day officially in the rear view it’s time for the Bucs to start building their practice squad. The rules have changed for teams around the league this season with squad sizes increasing to 16 players and allowing up to six vested veterans. Teams can also elevate a player to the game day roster up to three times this season. The team had just one player get claimed off waivers in wide receiver Tyler Johnson, who went to the Texans. That left all of the other players waived available to to return to the team.
The Bucs were able to bring 14 players that were waived during Tuesday’s roster cuts back to the practice squad. Here are the players that they brought on.

With only 14 players signed there are two available spots for the Bucs to bring in additional players who may not have been with the teams throughout the offseason. They could look to add an experienced interior lineman or potentially a veteran a cornerback. Either way, the practice squad should be fully assembled by Thursday mornings practice.
