The Bucs finally signed a veteran cornerback in free agency in former Titans corner Kemon Hall.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter broke the news on X.

Hall, who played collegiately at North Texas, is on his fourth team in six years. He’s played in 28 games between two years with the Chargers (2021-22), a year with the Cowboys (2024) and a year with the Titans (2025), but has not started a game. Hall also does not have an interception nor does he have any pass breakups, but he did force a fumble last year in Tennessee. He has 24 career tackles, including nine with the Titans last year.

Kemon Hall Adds Depth To Bucs Cornerback Room

The Buccaneers need to add a few cornerbacks this season after losing veterans Jamel Dean and Kindle Vildor in free agency. Tampa Bay also didn’t re-sign veteran Bryce Hall, who was on the practice squad last year. While he lacks a lot of playing time, Hall brings some decent size to the cornerback room at 5-foot-11, 202 pounds, along with 4.5 speed.

He is expected to compete for a depth position at cornerback and to play on special teams. The Buccaneers have a trio of starters with Zyon McCollum and Benjamin Morrison, last year’s second-round pick, slated to start outside with Jacob Parrish, last year’s third-round pick, starting again at nickelback. Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles has said that he will give Parrish an opportunity to compete with Morrison for the starting outside role as well, as the team looks to replace Dean, a long-time starter.

Josh Hayes and Demarion Williams are the only other cornerbacks currently on the roster with Hayes primarily playing on special teams as one of the league’s best gunners. Tampa Bay is expected to select a cornerback in the 2026 NFL Draft for depth and competition.
