Succop will compete with 2019 drat pick and incumbent Matt Gay and Elliott Fry who was signed this offseason. Both kickers have struggled at times during their training camp competition this year and head coach Bruce Arians told the media last week he was looking for more consistency.
Succop originally entered the league in 2009, spending five seasons with Kansas City then the following six in Tennessee. In 2019 however, Succop converted just one of his six field goal attempts over an injury-riddled six-game season for the veteran.
Succop has a career field goal percentage of 82.2 percent.
