The Bucs provided the media with an injury update on Saturday as safety Ryan Neal, who has missed practice time with a back injury this week, was downgraded to out and did not travel with the team. Neal played in last Sunday at Atlanta and got hurt during the game. Also, defensive tackle Vita Vea, who missed last Sunday’s Falcons game, was upgraded from doubtful to questionable.
Pewter Report has learned that Vea will be a true game-time decision for the Packers game and will work out with trainers at the stadium a few hours prior to kickoff to see if he can play with his injured toe. The Bucs signed defensive tackle Deadrin Senat from the practice squad just in case Vea can’t go, and to provide some depth with Will Gholston’s absence on Sunday in Green Bay.
Another game-time decision will be inside linebacker Devin White, who missed the last two games due to a foot injury. KJ Britt has started the last two weeks in place of White and performed well at Atlanta after seeing just seven snaps of action on defense against Carolina due to a back injury. If White doesn’t play in Green Bay, head coach Todd Bowles is prepared to start Britt once again at inside linebacker.
Good News For Other Banged Up Bucs

Wide receiver Chris Godwin has been dealing with – and playing through – a neck injury the last couple of weeks. But in the Bucs’ 29-25 win over the Falcons, Godwin suffered a minor knee injury. He was limited in practice later in the week but is expected to play against the Packers.
Cornerback Jamel Dean has returned from ankle and foot injuries he sustained in a 27-14 loss at San Francisco and will start at Green Bay. With Carlton Davis III now injured again, Zyon McCollum will stay in the starting lineup, but replacing Davis this time.
Safety Ryan Neal, defensive tackle Will Gholston and Davis are the only three Bucs that have been ruled out so far. But the team will test Vita Vea (toe) and Devin White (foot) at the stadium prior to making inactives known at 11:30 a.m. ET.
Packers Hurting At RB
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is reporting that Packers running back A.J. Dillon will not play against Tampa Bay due to a broken thumb. Complicating matters is the fact that starting running back Aaron Jones will be a game-time decision. Even if Jones plays he won’t be near 100 percent. That means the Packers could struggle running the ball.
While #Packers coach Matt LaFleur said there is optimism that RB Aaron Jones plays today, source says AJ Dillon is not expected to go. Dillon is dealing with a broken thumb, but was trying to play.
