Super Bowl 60 came and went, as the Seattle Seahawks were crowned champions after demolishing the New England Patriots, 29-13 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. While I can’t speak for every Bucs fan, I’m sure there was a lot of intrigue watching a game where the Bucs played each team during the regular season, and even beat the champion Seahawks in their own stadium.

So, as the Bucs and the rest of us move on to next season, what are the odds of Tampa Bay winning the Super Bowl in 2026? Apparently, the Bucs have the same exact odds as they did the season before, despite a lot more questions than answers heading into the 2026 campaign.

Bucs’ Super Bowl Odds Are Exactly The Same From A Season Ago

According to various gambling platforms including Draft Kings and Hard Rock Bet, the Bucs are +4,000 to win Super Bowl 61. Those were exactly the same numbers that Tampa Bay had a season ago after the Super Bowl ended. And with the Super Bowl done for this season, it apparently didn’t warrant any further progress by the Bucs.

Tampa Bay has the 18th best odds on Draft Kings and are tied with the the Cowboys for the 17th best odds on Hard Rock Bet. There are more teams ahead of the Bucs based on these odds than they were a season ago when they had the 15th best odds. Even though the payout is the same, there’s less belief in Tampa Bay and it’s difficult to argue against that line of thinking.

Last season was a surprise looking at the Super Bowl odds for the Bucs as they were coming off a 2024 season when they were flying high offensively. This most recent year was definitely a different tune, though. Todd Bowles’ defense continued to falter for second season in a row, and the offense did not repeat what it previously did for a variety of reasons.

Heading into 2026, Tampa Bay believes it can improve offensively after hiring Zac Robinson to be the offensive coordinator and adding a couple of new assistant coaches around him. The plan is to get the best out of Baker Mayfield and utilize the talent the Bucs have on offense with Bucky Irving, Chris Godwin Jr., Jalen McMillan and Emeka Egbuka to the best of their abilities.

There’s no guarantee that legendary wide receiver Mike Evans is returning. And we don’t know just yet what kind of moves the Bucs will make to fix their defense, whether it be through free agency, a trade or the draft. So it’s tough to put a lot of belief in that unit, especially with Bowles on the hot seat.

If one were to put their trust in the Bucs then this is the time to put in that Super Bowl bet. Depending on who they add in free agency, or suppose they make a blockbuster trade for Maxx Crosby, the odds will be reflected by each move and likely go down, meaning less of a payout if Tampa Bay does in fact pull it off a successful run to the Super Bowl.

Of course, Bucs fans would be ecstatic if they reached the mountaintop for a third time, and wouldn’t mind whatever odds they were given. One claim to fame that Tampa Bay still has is that they have the best odds compared to anyone else in the NFC South division. They are very much ahead of the Panthers and Falcons at +7,500, followed by the Saints at +10,000.

That comes as a bit of a surprise that the odds could be so far apart considering that Carolina won the division, while they along with Tampa Bay and Atlanta all were tied at the end of the season of 8-9. Do the bookmakers trust more of a turnaround from the Bucs, or the Panthers and Falcons being unable to keep up with their most recent accomplishments?

We’ll see how it all plays out in the NFC South division, but there’s not many giving the Bucs a real chance at winning a Super Bowl in 2026 based on the team’s current outlook.
