The Bucs were able to overcome an early deficit against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday to get their third win on the season, but unfortunately they will probably be moving forward without tight end O.J. Howard.
After leaving the game with an Achilles injury in the second half, head coach Bruce Arians confirmed that Howard ruptured his Achilles tendon on the play and will likely miss the remainder of the season.
“It looks like he has a ruptured Achilles and will probably be done for the year,” Arians said.

“It’s a tough injury,” Tom Brady said. “And I think everyone feels for O.J. and what his commitment’s been to the team, through the offseason and training camp. He’s just been a great player for us and it sucks to lose him. It’s a tough injury.”
