The Bucs have three defensive players on their official 30 visit list, but now there is an offensive name on the list as well. Iowa State wide receiver Jaylin Noel will be visiting Tampa Bay prior to the draft, according to The Draft Network’s Justin Melo.

Noel is one of the more explosive wide receivers in this year’s draft class, running a 4.39 at the NFL Scouting Combine and posting a 41.5-inch vertical jump, which was tied for the best among receivers in Indianapolis. That’s quite a vertical for a 5-foot-10, 194-pound receiver.

His 11-foot, 2-inch broad jump was also the best number for any receiver at the Combine, which further reinforces the fact that Noel is an explosive receiver.
Noel was a three-year starter for the Cyclones where he totaled 245 catches for 2,855 yards (11.7 avg.) with 18 receiving touchdowns. After catching 66 passes for 820 yards (12.4 avg.) and seven touchdowns as a junior, Noel took his game to a new level as a senior. He hauled in 80 receptions for 1,194 yards (14.9 avg.) and eight touchdowns playing opposite Iowa State wide receiver Jayden Higgins, who is regarded as a Day 2 prospect.
Noel is also viewed as a Day 2 prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft. Pro Football Focus has him as the No. 86 overall prospect, which would be a third-round pick. Noel undoubtedly helped himself with a good showing at the Senior Bowl as well as his fast time at the Combine.
Jaylin Noel Would Bring Speed, Competitiveness To Bucs WR Corps

The Bucs met informally with Iowa State wide receiver Jaylin Noel at the NFL Scouting Combine, and also met with him at the Senior Bowl. Tampa Bay is looking for another speed receiver to potentially replace Trey Palmer, who underwhelmed in his season season with the Bucs last year.
Noel was interviewed by The Draft Network’s Justin Melo and was asked if he surprised any scouts with his fast 40-yard dash time.
“I may have surprised a few of them,” Noel said. “I feel like if they truly watched my film though, you saw the explosiveness and athleticism on film. My results may have surprised a few of them, but you shouldn’t have been surprised if you watched the film.”
Noel played in the slot quite a bit at Iowa State but has the toughness and competitiveness to play outside and battle bigger, taller cornerbacks even though he’s just 5-foot-10 and weighs less than 200 pounds.
“Winning with your hands at the line of scrimmage is very important when going up against a bigger corner,” Noel said. “Those bigger corners try to use their length to keep them attached to your hip. Being able to use your hands to knock their hands down, and winning with quickness and explosiveness is important. You have to be quick-twitched at the line of scrimmage. You also have to stack them at the top of the route.
“If they’re within your vicinity, that length and size could allow them an opportunity to make a play on the ball. You have to create separation and win with your hands at the line of scrimmage early.”
Noel also posted 23 reps on the bench press in Indianapolis, which speaks to his strength. That was the highest bench press rep total by any receiver at the Combine.
The Bucs have their top three receivers returning in 2025 in Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Jalen McMillan. But after injuries hit the receiver room hard last year, Tampa Bay is looking to upgrade its depth and find a potential future starter to move up the depth chart whenever Evans, 31, and Godwin, 29, ultimately retire.
Noel would also bring some kick and punt return experience to Tampa Bay. He averaged 8.8 yards per punt return on 53 returns at Iowa State, but averaged 15.3 yards as senior. He also averaged 22.2 yards per kick return for the Cyclones.
