Leon Jacobs | West | 3-4 LB | Wisconsin

We got this comparison from a friend of ours, but when you watch Jacobs, think of former LSU, now current Minnesota Vikings, pass rusher Danielle Hunter.

Jacobs is listed at 6-foot-2, 243 pounds. He’s a long 3-4 outside linebacker who thrives as a pass rush specialist in a 3-4 formation. Jacobs has just 6.5 sacks to his name in the four years he played at Wisconsin, but his ability is still raw. At times, you watch him jump off the line and you see flashes of a player who can make an edge impact in the NFL. Other times he just looks lost.

That was the narrative around Hunter when he was coming out of LSU as well. Both Jacobs and Hunter had coveting body types and athletic ability, but both were very raw as prospects. Hunter has been able to get the right coaching and has been able to hone in on that ability and maximize it with his long frame and become a double-digit sacker with the Vikings. Jacobs has a chance to do the same. It will start with a good Shrine Week with some NFL coaching.
