Marcus Martin | East | 4-3 DE |  Slippery Rock

We’ve already mentioned a few sack masters in this group, but Martin is the title holder.

Martin, listed as a 6-foot-2, 255-pound 4-3 defensive end, is the NCAA all-time career leader in sacks, regardless of division, with 56. He is also the NCAA Division II all-time leader in career tackles for loss with 92.5, more than 15 ahead of the next best player in Division II history (77.0).

Martin’s tape isn’t nearly as impressive as his statistics are. He doesn’t show great get-off or power when engaging blocks. He also can get bullied at the point of attack, at times. But, he was invited to the East West Shrine Game because, if you have production like that, you deserve to at least have a shot to prove yourself. Martin will get his.
