KC McDermott | East | OT | Miami
It’s no secret that the Buccaneers will be looking to upgrade their offensive line this offseason, if they can, and at the East-West Shrine practices, the biggest name of the bunch is likely McDermott, Miami’s massive, 6-foot-7, 300-pound offensive tackle.
McDermott split time at guard and at right tackle during his first year as a starter during his sophomore year. After making the full-time switch to tackle during his junior season, expectations were high. Up to his final year, McDermott has allowed one sack, two QB hits, and five QB hurries on on 340 pass blocking snaps. McDermott’s 98.2 pass blocking efficiency is among one of the best for the tackle position looking ahead to the 2018 NFL Draft.
He started all 13 games at tackle during his final season, which made it 34 consecutive starts for him to end out his Canes career.
