Facing the defending NFC Champion Eagles tonight, the Bucs will be without one of their top cornerbacks. Carlton Davis III was among those listed on tonight’s inactive list, leaving Jamel Dean and Zyon McCollum as the two outside corners tasked with containing the lethal wide receiver duo of A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.

Friday’s injury report showed Bucs rookies Calijah Kancey and SirVocea Dennis not participating and each were already ruled out beforehand. The team recently made some elevations to the active roster to accommodate their respective absences.
While defensive lineman Deadrin Senat was called up from the practice squad, he will not play tonight. That is an encouraging sign that the team expects nose tackle Vita Vea to play a lot against an Eagles’ interior offensive line anchored by center Jason Kelce.

Other notable players listed include rookie third-round pick offensive lineman Tyler Steen and tight end Albert Okwuegbunam, who the Eagles traded for in the offseason from the Broncos.
