The inactive lists for the Bucs and Panthers were released before this afternoon’s 4:05 p.m. ET game.

The biggest update on Tampa Bay’s side is that inside linebacker SirVocea Dennis is inactive after battling an illness during the week. Dennis was unable to get up to speed in time, so it leaves the depth at the position even thinner. With Lavonte David, Devin White, and SirVocea Dennis all being out, that means K.J. Britt and J.J. Russell will be the starting inside linebackers.
Otherwise, it remains the same for the rest of the team’s inactive list. Jamel Dean remains out with an ankle/foot injury. That means Zyon McCollum will again get the start as a boundary cornerback opposite Carlton Davis III.
Some good news for the Bucs is that wide receiver Chris Godwin will be active and ready to go after his status was up in the air this week after previously being added with a neck injury.

On Carolina’s side, they have been hit hard with injuries, but they did get some positive news ahead of the game. Cornerback Jaycee Horn, safety Jeremy Chinn, and defensive lineman Yetur Gross-Matos were all activated and will be suiting up and getting some action. This will give them some added reinforcements on defense.
On offense, rookie quarterback Bryce Young will have even fewer weapons to work with. Tight ends Hayden Hurst (concussion) and Tommy Tremble (hip) are both inactive, as is wide receiver Terrace Marshall Jr.
The other most notable addition to the Panthers’ inactive list is cornerback Shaquil Griffin, who was just claimed off waivers from the Texans earlier in the week.
