The Bucs and Raiders have released their inactive lists prior to kickoff at 1 p.m. ET. After getting some bad news on the injury front in the days leading up to the game, Pewter Report’s Scott Reynolds reported on Sunday morning that rookie running back Bucky Irving would play, and he is active after dealing with a hip injury.
Bucs Get Positive Injury News

The biggest game-time news was surrounding another Bucs rookie, nickelback Tykee Smith. Smith, who has missed the team’s past three games with a knee injury, is back and provides a much-needed boost to a secondary who has health with injuries throughout the season, most recently at safety.
Across eight games this season, the do-it-all defensive back has 42 total tackles, five passes defended, three forced fumbles and one interception. With the former Georgia Bulldog playing today, he will get another opportunity to face – and likely guard – former college teammate and rookie tight end Brock Bowers.
The Bucs’ inactive list speaks to the extent of defensive injuries as six of the seven players are on that side of the ball. Head coach Todd Bowles will have to work some magic to overcome personnel losses and get production out of his depth.

Raiders Have A Banged-Up Backfield
Not much has gone the Raiders’ way this season, as the team is 2-10 and has eight consecutive losses. It will not get any easier for them on Sunday afternoon, as they will be missing their top two running backs in Alexander Mattison and Zamir White.
Neither Mattison nor White has been especially productive leading the league’s 32nd-ranked rushing attack, but it leaves Las Vegas’ ground game with the uncertainty of who will get touches. Journeyman running back Ameer Abdullah has managed to be in the fold and get touches, but expect second-year undrafted back Sincere McCormick to get some run. McCormick is coming off a solid game with extended action (12 carries for 64 rushing yards) and will need to be a dynamic weapon if the offense wants to put up the kind of points to stay in the game.
The Raiders will also be playing without veterans Cody Whitehair and Nate Hobbs.
