ESPN’s Jenna Laine reported on Thursday that the Bucs will waive cornerback M.J. Stewart, a second-round draft pick from 2018.
Source tells me that the Bucs are cutting cornerback M.J. Stewart. He was a second-round draft pick by the Bucs in 2018.

As a rookie in 2018, Stewart found action in 11 games with five starts, totaling three passes defended on the season but in 2019 the former North Carolina Tar Heel started just one game, playing in 10 before being designated as a healthy scratch in three of the Bucs’ final four games.
With the departure of Stewart, Tampa Bay has just four players remaining on the roster to fight for a spot as the team’s fourth and fifth cornerback spots, veteran Ryan Smith, rookie Parnell Motley and second-year players Mazzi Wilkins and Herb Miller.
