My only point is that I was right the entire time when I said Auburn is for real and going to give FSU fits. Auburn was really damn good. I underestimated them badly. Thank God I am not a betting man. Remember, no matter how much UF and FSU hate each other, it is always good to bring Nat'l Championships to the state of Florida. Miyagi believes that any other SEC team would have beaten FSU last night. Shows his delusion on the topic.

I will say that bowl games are where the coaching really can make a team shine or fail. Great coaches will scheme against their opponent to a degree that is impossible during the regular season, and auburn showed why their coach is the coach of the year. Congrats to auburn for making it this far and taking FSU to the brink. Nobody gave them the chance.
I give Auburn's coaching kudo's for putting together a great game plan against a team that was favored. Gus Malzahn knowing that FSU would stifle the running game put in some excellent pass plays that did exploit FSU. They also profited greatly from a great punt and the Winston fumble that allowed some very short drives for scores. Also the defensive game plan of using the one asset Auburn had ( a deep and talented DL) to constantly pressure Winston was extremely successful for the first 2 quarters of the game. Once FSU adjusted to quicker releases FSU finally exposed the vulnerable secondary. I disagree with the statement nobody gave Auburn a chance. In fact over the last few weeks from most of the talking heads most claimed Auburn was going to win because FSU played such a weak schedule and wouldn't win a crunch time against a team such as Auburn who had a bunch of games won in the final minutes against "GREAT" SEC teams. Unfortunately, the Heisman curse and an overconfident FSU team caught up with them at worst possible time and Auburn caught them with their pants down initially. Auburn came out like crazed mad men for the first couple of quarters and certainly showed their comeback ability when FSU finally took the lead in the 4th quarter. They truly made some dynamic plays like they had all year on their last scoring drive and gave FSU the ball with 1:05 on the clock on the FSU 20 yard line. FSU than proved what an incredibly fantastic team that they have this year and marched down the field with Winston showing why he is considered the #1 NFL prospect this year and next year in the NFL draft. FSU marched down the field finishing the greatest comeback in BCS championship history to win the game. While I listen to the drivel that the ACC sucks I just laugh and again state Duke took A&M to the brink Clemson beat Ohio Stateand of course FSU beat the SEC's #1 team Auburn. Let us not also forget the thrashing Alabama took to Oklahoma that certainly wasn't considered by Big 12 folks as their number #1 team that interestingly lost to UCF. Nor should we neglect another media favorite Stanford losing to Michigan State. The SEC most years is the toughest conference in football (1) with more good teams than any other conference and if any SEC team faces all those "good" teams on its schedule and wins them all it is indeed notable. That being said and Coach Stoops nailed it there are a lot of mediocre teams in the SEC just like every other conference. Heck one of their own just had the most ignominious loss in CFB history when Georgia Southern without even completing a pass beat the "mighty"? gators on the "toughest"? home field Benny Hill Griffin. The same field in which they also suffered their worst loss of the season against the National Champion FSU. :DYes the ACC sucks! ::) ;) SEC! SEC! SEC! BURP! :P I will take the wins over loser's drivel any time! :-*Look forward to next season... Get ready to be Winstonized again!! (1) I believe a strong argument could be made that the Pac 12 was the best conference overall this season.

Yes you did with your FSU looks awful... changing to FSU is actually pretty good thread.. So which is it?I made an observation concerning not only the result of the game but also the fact that all we hear all year how the SEC owns the BCS and I mentioned it was interesting that the SEC went 0-2 in their BCS games while the ACC went 2-0. Hey would not SEC fans been making the same statement had the situation been reversed? I admit I don't get the whole conference pride thing but I do enjoy when those that dish out such drivel get it thrown right back at them when their words are proven false. The SEC was down this year and the passionate fans of that league are very unhappy. What I found even more interesting when visiting FSU boards was the number of fans from other conferences and so many posts congratulating FSU on their victory. It seems there are many CFB fans that are also sick of the out of control SEC love fest.

That is why I never comment on a game while in progress. Ain't over until the fat lady sings or should I say the Heisman Winner proves that he is the best player in CFB. I give plenty of credit to Auburn they came incredibly fired up and put FSU in a hole early. In the end FSU settled down and played like a 13-0 team.
