C'mon. Fsu did play nice, but a missed tackle on a 8 yard stop won the game.
A tale of two halves decided on the second to last possession, what more can you ask? The last possession was too short to do anything with, even for Auburn. FSU had speed on the field and was waiting for the hook and ladder stuff.
Gametime, missed tackles was how Mason scored his last TD. You shouldn't disparage one without the other. Take both plays away and FSU still wins.
and the thread is killed ...........
and yet you are still alive? Why don't you do us all a favor and do yourself in since you contribute nothing.
I started the thread you just killed with your long winded diatribe aimed at aggravating the SEC fans .......
Yes you did with your FSU looks awful... changing to FSU is actually pretty good thread.. So which is it?
What are you talking about "which is it"? It's both. Did you watch the game? FSU was completely unprepared for what Auburn hit them with hence outcoached at that point, but then Fisher made adjustments and did a great job of keeping Winston calm and thus FSU ended up rolling. The two are not mutually exclusive. Take your rambling diatribes to one of the threads you already killed.

Exactly. It's funny to watch the SEC homers continue to make excuses instead of giving the devil his due
Can't blame Olaf for thinking the Noles were toast. They looked awful in the first half. Shlt, they looked doomed.
I didn't think they were toast. I thought they were being outcoached and looked ill prepared and they did/were.

i wonder what would have happened if mason continued to run along the side line with his convoy of blockers instead of cutting it back. Saban pointed that out in the post game reviews. He actually had a wall set up.

auburn was inside fsu 30 yard line, fsu was on their own 30 yard line. Not sure those missed tackles are comparable. One was also a heisman candidate RB trucking a true freshman, the other a senior cornerback being lazy and sloppy.I'm not disparaging fsu, they won. But I do think it's pretty lucky to have a 60yard gain with under a minute left on a 8 yard curl route.
There were multiple missed tackles on the TD run. There was a missed tackle on the 3rd and 11 that allowed Marshall to complete the pass earlier in the drive. A fumble, punt return, and busted coverage set up Auburn's first 3 TDs. Sounds pretty lucky to me ..........
What a game. You always wonder how teams will handle that much time off. Auburn's defense came out like gang busters and their offense threw more than they usually do. Kudos to their staff for implementing a strong game-plan over the break. FSU, on the other hand, seemed out of sync offensively. We couldn't block and Winston was confused. Defensively we had a few blown coverages. But kudos to the FSU staff for making the necessary half-time adjustments. The score at the end of the 1st(especially the fake punt) got it started. In the 2nd half we tightened up the o-line and moved the ball better. Defensively, i thought we held them in check for the most part. You can't really shut them down, just slow them down. The last 5 minutes were epic! Impressed with both schools ability to answer the bell and respond to the opponents scores. At the end of the day Winston did what great players do. Awesome stuff!
A int, a fake punt, and a guys first ever ko return for td(?) set up 3 of fsus tds. Missed tackles happen throughout games...but the missed tackle on Greene was very bad. Maybe you see it differently, or maybe you are just arguing to argue.

I'm not arguing. I'm laughing at sec homer trying to pretend he isn't "disparaging" fsu's victory.

I played High School football with him for 4 years. Park Vista. His two tackles went to South Carolina (mike Matulis, saw him at LA fitness today) and Wake Forest(Cody preble) Man we had some good times.

And Larry Levy from FSU. He never plays though. We had to have one of the best high school football teams ever.

Actually, Whitfield had a TD return earlier this season. fastest player on FSU squad. As to the missed tackle same thing happened against Duke and Florida against Benjamin which actually involved many missed tackles. Could it be that it was just a great pass thrown between two defenders?
