Missed tackles happen throughout games...but the missed tackle on Greene was very bad.
I'm not arguing. I'm laughing at sec homer trying to pretend he isn't "disparaging" fsu's victory.
I root for the sec, but not sure homer is the correct term. I bet on fsu to cover.
As to the missed tackle same thing happened against Duke and Florida against Benjamin which actually involved many missed tackles. Could it be that it was just a great pass thrown between two defenders?
i seem to remember that as more of a deep slant or crossing route? Could be wrong on that. Certainly missed tackles there. I've seen Winston make many great passes, but I don't consider the pass to Greene a great pass. I consider it a great run set up by poor defensive effort. The pass was a 8 yard stop against soft coverage.
Sure ... I was wrong .Now go back to preaching about how FSU struggled in that game because of how strong the SEC is .....which was MY point all along , LULZ
No, your point all along was that FSU would lose on account of the ACC being so weak. You were WRONG. I stated all along that the ACC sucks, but FSU would still win this game.I was right. You were WRONG. Spin it however you want. You're a fool.

Auburn made FSU struggle, just like GA Southern made Florida struggle........oh wait, UF got mushroom-stamped by the mighty Eagles so my comparison is moot.DJ, it is lame that you're riding the jockstrap of the SEC due to your team being complete crap this year. BOTTOM LINE is this: The (2) best college football teams in America played last night. The #1 team edged out the #2 team. That is all. Continue to try and take away from FSU's season......you'll just continue to look like an idiot.
I'm not taking away from FSU's season. You are confusing me with Miyagi-san.I congratulated the Noles and I acknowledge they were a great team . My only point is that I was right the entire time when I said Auburn is for real and going to give FSU fits. You don't run the gauntlet of the SEC if you are fluke who's gonna roll over and die on the big stage. I thought Auburn would win , and they easily could have if a few things bounced differently. Miyagi-san swore up and down they'd get run out of the stadium . In short : I proved he's an idiot.Once again , congrats to you and your Noles. You proved you deserved it last night.
LULZI was right. You were wrong, yet you're convincing yourself of something else. That's cute. You were wrong. I was right.
Miyagi believes that any other SEC team would have beaten FSU last night. Shows his delusion on the topic.
"Hey, I'm stupid, so let me just pretend somebody else said something, and use it against them."
You sure you were right , stupid ?
AU is beyond lucky to even be in this game. They needed insane amounts of luck and/or horrible officiating in at least 3 of their wins, to go along with a two TD loss. It's why Vegas not only has them as a heavy underdog in this game, but would against probably another 5-10 teams. They don't factor in luck. Maybe you do. Have fun with that.
It's still going to be a **CENSORED**ty title game.Auburn isn't any better than OSU. They're insanely lucky to be where they are, and they will get thrashed.Auburn's one dimensional offense will be useless, and their defense can't stop Winston and the crazy athletes FSU has. This will not be pretty.
U mad Miyagi-san . I was right , and it might be time for you to take a break. Just pretend you still lost the bet that got canceled because you're a dumb ass . Lulz !!
You sure you were right ?
Yes, I was. You said AU would win, and I said FSU would, in spite of their weak schedule and conference.I was right. You were wrong.DWI
I almost feel bad for the guy that had Auburn for $100 at 500/1. So close to winning $50,000

I heard about that. Dude could've easily hedged his bet to guarantee himself a payout.

He may have, but I got the idea that he threw the money down last January while on vacation.
I really like our chances next year to make another run at it. We lose Benjamin, Jernigan, Freeman and Wilder but none of those were unexpected. Winston returns with 5 SR o-linemen blocking for him. Karlos Williams has been our big play super sub all year. Next year he'll be the featured back. I think Dalvin Cook will be is side kick and make an impact as a freshman. Greene and O'leary will be the featured options in the passing game. Whitfield will get touches on screens, reverses, jet sweeps, special teams. Defensively we lost some really good seniors but thanks to strong recruiting and depth we have the ammo to re-load. I expect big things out of Goldman and Edwards up front. Even w/o Joyner we will have one of the best secondaries in the country. But I admit we have to strike while the iron is hot. After next year we are going to lose a ton of guys to graduation or the pros, particularly on offense. We gotta take advantage of this window of opportunity in 2014 because 2015 could be a transitional year.

Agreed on the bolded. Joyner was our 3rd best cover corner this year. Williams and Darby were both lock down. I don't think losing Brooks will hurt. Andrews looks like he might be an upgrade. What's really going to hurt on defense is losing Timmy. He was a MONSTER.
it will be interesting to see how we fill the void. There are question marks on the interior DL. Not much experienced depth there with Jernigan, McDaniel and McCallister leaving. I think Goldman could be ready for primetime. NLS is a solid rotational guy but we need at least one more guy(Shanks? Mitchell? or maybe incoming freshman Christmas?). I'm also curious to see what we do at jack LB. Jones was very good there. I nominate Casher or maybe Matthew Thomas for that role.
One thing certain if FSU makes the playoffs the talk of an easy schedule will no longer be a valid criticism since 2 of the out of conference games have been replaced with Oklahoma St and Notre Dame. FSU definitely will have a respectable schedule despite the unfair aspersions towards the ACC which I believe had 2 BCS victories last season while the highly acclaimed SEC had its two best teams losing their BCS games. FSU is in the catbird seat next year and every opponent's "GAME OF THE YEAR" will be the one against FSU, Once again the formula yet to be unproven will be put to the test. That formula : Beat UF Beat Miami and Win the ACC and FSU goes to the playoff even with one loss unless there are 4 undefeated in the other 4 big boy conferences. Extremely unlikely! Also, despite the apparent focus by many on SOS and how many ranked teams one plays( Do the Pre Season rankings count? Is it the ranking when they play? or is it the final ranking before the bowls?) What a silly way to evaluate a team with all those options having validity. :-[That being said....Being ranked #1 definitely will have its benefits and as ridiculous as it was when LSU was brought to the MNC with 2 losses, FSU would indeed be the first team in if any (2) loss team was to be considered. Starting out at the top will give FSU that advantage looking at the situation rationally and logically without bias. There is a distinct advantage in being ranked #1 as the season begins. It does look like FSU is going to do well in recruiting ( to the victor go the spoils). FSU appears to be reloading well much to the chagrin of its 2 rivals in the South.Would be quite a coup if FSU in addition to Lane and Cook from UF was also able to poach Chad Thomas from Miami as well as Humphrey from Bama and Dupree from LSU or even Mcdowell from Michigan/MSU. Signing day could be full of surprises as FSU struggles with numbers. There is no lack of quality recruits wanting to come to FSU. FSU may sign as many as 32 if they get a couple of gray shirts according to some recruitniks. It appears a few currently committed won't make it academically or may go elsewhere with the numbers crunch. Lower ranked recruit being replaced by a much higher ranked one.GO NOLES! :D
