Saw this floating around earlier.I guess Dan Mullen will be a nice consolation prize next year but the fact that Texas fleeced Jeremy Foley on this whole coach-in-waiting thing is frustrating. #FireMuschump
Uh.....huge jumping the gun on Cutcliffe. May happen, but he was one of three calls that has supposedly been made already by Louisville. That was a grand slam hire by Texas though.
is this offical yet?

A lot of K's before hitting that "grand slam"

Considering all the "bluster" that Texas could have any coach they wanted I don't think I would call the hire a grand slam.Seriously, while I loved Louisville embarrassing UF last year and UM this year in CFB, I don't think I am ready to anoint Strong as being a proven Top notch head coach. Strong was probably about number #10 on the list of candidates Texas claimed they could have because of the amount of money they could throw. From Gruden to Kelly to Harbaugh in the Pros to Saban, Fisher, Briles ,Malzan, Franklin etc etc etc , I found the list to be laughable and ridiculous... Money is not the guiding issue for Big Time Coaches and that is why Texas settled on Strong.
How long till Bobby Petrino bolts to his next college gig? Dude is the Kenny Lofton of College football.
