1) I was WRONG! WRONG about giving up on Lovie Smith earlier this season. What I thought was a poorly coached team was a young team learning and developing trust amongst themselves and their coaches. What WAS sloppy play and poor execution has become something else. There is a confidence and a professional approach to every play now, the knowing they are given a chance to succeed only good coaching brings. I am so happy to be WRONG!2) You have to laugh now at the panic, the doubts so many had about QB Jameis Winston after the Titans game. Though I never had any doubt about the kid’s talent or desire to win, many did. Not sure anyone does now and if that’s still the case? No comment.3) The Buccaneer OL was thought to be the worst in the league only weeks ago. Well, no more! Home runs in the draft and, again, good coaching have brought those men together to form a DAMN good OL. Dirk Koetter must be beside himself! They run block, they pass block and have helped inspire the confidence we all see from Jameis. And vice versa BTW.4) WHERE did those CB’s starting for the defense come from? Apparently they were here all along, spotted by the coaches, coached and have stepped up quite well, haven’t they?5) Doug Martin. Should be go or should he stay? Nice problem to have but I sure hope he stays!6) PLAYOFFS? I’ll settle to the kind of game I saw today every week and let the chips fall where they may.7) But fans, Buccaneer fans who have stuck with this team for so many years? The corner has been turned and we can expect YEARS of competitive football in Tampa Bay again. This team will be or compete to be a playoff team with Super Bowl aspirations for YEARS to come. All I can ask more and plenty to feel damn good about on 11/22/15!Remember today was we seem to do on various eagle games in that stadium full of vile green chunks. It's a GOOD day, hell a GREAT day and one of many to come.
