SR - When the Bucs reworked Nicks deal during the 2012 season - that push guaranteed money in to the form of a signing bonus to be spread out over the remained of his contract. If the Bucs cut Nicks the team would only net a cap savings of $2,286,000 as the team would incur $7,071,000 in dead money if they released Nicks.
It will be interesting to see what they choose to do with Nicks and Joseph.
