The Buccaneers placed two players in the Pro Bowl, with Gerald McCoy and Darrelle Revis, selected to make the trip to Hawaii, but linebacker Lavonte David missed making the annual all-star game. On Friday, David received some consolation, as he and McCoy were voted first team All-Pro by AP writers. https://www.pewterreport.com/index.php?option=com_k2&view=item&id=9550:&Itemid=15
IMO first team All-Pro is a MUCH higher honor than being named to the Pro-Bowl. Tougher competition, only the best of the best make it. It also further proves the Pro-Bowl to be farcical and a waste of time to watch or play.Congrats to the well deserved honor to both Gerald and Lavonte!

+1. But, IMHO, if you're all pro you get selected to the pro bowl.

Totally agree and this was my first thought... and it serves to show how wrong the Pro Bowl vote was.
Barring injury he'll make it next season. And, quite possibly, make all pro to boot.
