Must win game, perfect opportunity to do it. So they implode and fail to get it done and Bill Joe Johnson or whatever his name is shreds us for 210 yards and three TDs, most of them on seam routes to Kendricks and Cook. See...we can all see that happening. The Bucs have no pass rush...and for some strange reason Greg Robinson isn't even starting for them...at least the depth chart says he is behind Saffold and Long. Odd.Anyways, what I really see happening is the Bucs defense plays just well enough to fluster their practice squad QB into a few mistakes which ultimately costs them big. The Bucs offensive line will struggle, Mankins or not, as they have not gelled yet, and McCown is a slow reader.Martin will play. He will have a much better game this week. I mean, how can it get any worse? He was atrocious against the Kittycats. Evans will score a TD, should have roughly 60 yards or so. Unless there is a jailbreak and McCown lets it fly on time. I think he has had his chances here and there, and ultimately all those chances don't come for no reason. McCown needs to make them pay when he breaks free.Their pass rush is their universe. If it is clicking, the Bucs will be getting stuck.'If the Bucs pass rush is anemic as usual (the Rams O-line isn't so bad), then the Bucs defense will fluster us as they give up crucial plays that extend drives. Fail contain on third and mid, poor seam coverage from Foster-Barron-Goldson. I think the Bucs have too many new parts on offense still. Going to be months before it looks functional, IMO. But they should win this one in a sloppy, gritty, down to the wire mistake fest.Bucs 20Rams 17
