I know it's a physical position... how many breathers does the position require? I read tedford recruited lorig as a TE... could he do double duty?... could provide TE depth since we need one able to block and I believe his hands are adequate when needed... could make resigning lorig more valuable.
Lorig played TE/ H-Back, Fullback for Stanford his first two years before switching to defense. Due to the long list of injuries the Bucs suffered this past season, (TE position notwithstanding), Coach Schiano had Lorig lining up in multiple positions, blocking very well from all, including TE.
