The success in the hurry up offense makes me wonder what the biggest difference is between our base offense and hurry up?  I understand the general benefits of a hurry up offense (limited substitutions, rhythm etc), but is there anything that stands out between our hurry up and base offense, for example is it true Glennon was calling the plays?

It also does not allow the opposing defense to substitute players in and out...I think the biggest thing is that Glennon does less thinking and just delivers the football in rhythm. I thought the offense looked much better in the hurry-up two-minute offense and seemed to be playing with much more confidence.  For what ever reason the team has struggled mightily trying to run the football and its has only put more pressure on Glennon to produce...its not helping that receivers not gaining separation...But for the most part I personally feel that with any rookie QB the less time he has to think the better off they are...especially when the running game is not helping...

Schiano talking about the no-huddle“There’s a lot of different no-huddles. We have really three different tempos that we go no-huddle and I’m not going to get into a lot of the specifics because competitively, but we jumped into one of the tempos of no-huddle, I think it was the third series and you can’t go much quicker than that. You can if you want to do the whole game, [but] I didn’t want to do the whole game. We’ve done that at different times this year. We’ve opened halves with it, especially when we weren’t very effective in the first half. It can be used to jumpstart sometimes, it can be used a way to put the gas pedal down on somebody if you’re rolling them pretty good – just a feel thing. You have to have, depending on which type of no-huddle you’re utilizing, one of them is your end of game no-huddle if you want to use that at anytime, that’s one set of plays and then there’s a whole other – what you guys probably remember the Buffalo Bills used to do where they would huddle – they would be on the line but they would be able to run their whole offense from on the line or a lot of their offense. It’s definitely a weapon, but when you do that, when things don’t go well because we scored twice with it now people will say – I get home and they say ‘Why didn’t we do more of the no-huddle?’ I get the same things and I agree. I guess my point is against a team like that I really thought we would be able to run it better and get into a time of possession – when you go no-huddle, especially if they get you three-and-out, your time of possession is almost nil and I do think against a team like that who has the ability – that’s what sickens me about that third-and-12 play. That to me was the tipping point in that game because then we live to see a 10 minute drive at that point it might have been a minute-and-forty-second drive, but when you’re playing against a really a good opponent, a really good football team, there’s going to be those critical plays, those tipping points.”

Remember in college when you had a Professor that you were smarter than he was and new the subjects better?  That's what we got with Schiano.  Out in the world outside of football, you would fire your salesmen with these kind of excuses. "Sorry Mr Owner, I just didn't have the correct color shirt on to get this sale; it was close though; I'll fix it and wear the same shirt next time because I know it will fool them this time".

And then there's that guy that thinks he's smarter.....................kind of like that teenager that thinks he knows it all. If you were expecting the Bucs to beat the 'Niners, maybe you don't know as much as you think you do. Schiano has addressed issues on defense (run and pass). I'm sure the offense and pass rush are next on his list. Raheem didn't leave a team one step away from being a SB contender. There was a lot to fix even without Freeman in the punchbowl. The team has some depth now. We've seen backup players contributing to wins in games that we should have won. The Bucs lost to a better team. Get over it.

I agree with..."The Bucs lost to a better team. Get over it"......
