Hah! ...'tis true. If he's goofed up and dealt with the pressure by turning to some substance...it's on him.

Rick Stroud:DID YOU KNOW? Dungy tried to hire Tedford as offensive coordinator in Tampa Bay. But, Dungy said, "(Tedford) wanted to stay in college, and that was the track he wanted to go on. … He's a very good offensive coach, and they've got some weaponry there."

Uhhh...you do realize this comes from the same guy that hired Mike Shula, Les Steckel and Clyde Christiansen - to run his offense, right?...and yes, I assumed the article posted previously (referencing Rich McKay's two attempts to hire Tedford) were for Dungy.

Anybody that believes that the Bucs were interested in re-hiring Gruden or even made a serious run at Cowher,  that person should receive the 2014 gullibility award.  Lovie was in the works for some time.

Anybody, that thinks Gruden and Cowher were not consulted - decides not to occupy reality on a semi-regular basis. It's ok, that's what I was talking about when I referred to "self-delusion" - you kinda have to do that in order to get on with the process of enjoying football. Self deluding without accepting the fact that you drank your kool aid like a good little bucaroo - means you're waist deep in...well...Glazer waste....now, attempting to do that (^^) while simultaneously insulting those who haven't YET deluded themselves aout the Bucs? ...well you just don't have the chops for that.I reject your reality and submit my own, instead - and if you don't t agree, you're a cotton-headded-nonny-muggins!"Please. Why did you even bother?

I will say this, I almost didn't post it because it was from Lacanfora, but noted he sighted Dungy and Gruden - and neither have denied it.

:DWT, I am honestly not sure you realize you do this, so I will take a shot, but if you look through the early portion of the thread you should see that you started off by insulting anyone who didn't share your interesting view on things as "kool aid drinkers".  Couldn't it be that others just have a different valid and non-deluded opinion, say, for example, because they don't think much of La Canfora (like you, apparently) or, perhaps, because they just don't take a non-denial from Dungy and Gruden as having the significance you seem to place on it? That is why I commented early that its ironic to see you complain (earlier) about the tone of the discussion when you came out calling everyone who disagreed "crazy" and continue to do so . . . like this from the other Tedfors thread:

Yes, we have to agree to self-delude until we can prove it either way.Like I've said in another thread - I'm just not there yet.

You keep saying that anyone who doesn't agree with you is "self-deluding"  . . .  . have you ever considered that you could just be wrong? Or, others could just be wrong?

Agent speak 101:  Never deny your client was highly sought after for an important job, regardless if it's reality.

Be careful, you don't have the chops for that.
