Frazier - whom I didn't/don't like for personal reasons (think his character - or lack thereof - was exposed by the way he treated Freeman in Minny - and yes, I am an unabashed Freeman-ite).
LOLPoor Joshie-pooh, first Schiano is a big meanie and then Frazier joins the vast conspiracy to destroy Freeman's career.
No, but it is quite clear that what we were told was ALL the problem - was probably a shared bit of incompetency - the majority of the blame rests with leadership for the failure. To be clear - now that we know what we now - the majority of the blame rests with the incompetent fool of a head coach, the GM that made enough bad moves regarding salaries for the talent he acquired (and the lack of performance for said talent), and a QB that succumbed to the pressure and began to check out...Everybody paid with their jobs. The problem with Leslie Frazier is that HE was the leader of a team whose owner and GM went to some lengths to add a QB FOR Leslie. He didn't want/like what the OWNERS wanted him to do - so he did what he could to sabotage the investment. He waited until a Monday night game, and after a couple of weeks in the offense - he deliberately stepped outside of his own offensive playcalling and threw the ball 53 times - 10 more times than any other game of the season. As far as what happened to Freeman - if his career is ruined - then that is on him. Frazier did not exhibit the leadership he requires from others. His incompetence and lack of character were on display for all to see. That's on Leslie. It's why I have been COMPLETELY underwhelmed. From my perspective - as I heard the information unfold - the head coach was a fired retread, the OC ran a gimmick offense and was a college wash out, and the DC lacks leadership and character... woohoo. Now, from my respect for Lovie Smith - he's family - I understand why (now) the owners brought him in. I'm still skeptical regarding the OC - but it's not a character thing. The defense is Lovie's specialty - so I'll ignore Frazier for now.See, the self-delusion is already beginning to set in.
Wow, that's a lot of unsubstantiated rumor-mongering.
I think this is a good time to say Freeman sucks

conspiracy theories . . . caulk for broken logic
Yeah, it's like kool aid drinkers, being caulk for leaky franchises...

its as if his account has been hacked. Say day!!

its the Glazers who are selling the "Josh is good and Leslie is a thug" story? huh?I will not waste the effort, but if you go back through this thread you probably set a record for using conspiracy theories to explain away facts: Josh sucks =no, Josh was wronged by Leslie, Tedford endorsed by Rodgers = no,Tedford paid RodgersTedford offered NFL jobs= no, job offers extended by crazy people.that's a lot of caulk
Maybe, or maybe it's just good ol' irascible, (but cynical) Tiger.Tired of being yanked around - "believe in this guy....nah, new monkey in the grind-house...that guy sucks so forget him...now, this guy is the BOMB..."Sorry, until they prove it - they all suck.

Assuming your forced perspective is correct, It is important to you, why?
Acceptance of a fired, retread coach - with open arms - because you think the owners are right (even after they hired the last mistake we knew was a mistake).Acceptance of a fired college head coach who is mostly known for the 5 BUSTS he produced - without ANY reservations.Acceptance of a fired head coach as your DCThats the most failure ever assembled at OBP - and from the beginning you've accepted every option without ANY questions?...and you claim I have a problem with reality?Sounds like someone sold you anotther load of hope & change...
I've stopped trying to argue, but this one I can't let go.

EVERY COACH HAS BEEN FIRED!!! Hall of Fame coaches have been fired multiple times! Look through any coaching history and you'll see dismissals as positions coaches, as coordinators, as head coaches - whether in college or the pros. It's the BUSINESS of it to be fired. Bill Walsh himself has famously said that no head coach should stay in one place for more than 10 years. By that logic even the most amazing coach will be fired every 10 years - unless he chooses to finally retire.
When the Glazers hired Dungy, he had not yet been fired. When the Glazers hired Gruden, he hadn't been fired. Don't think Zimmer or Greg Roman have been fired....and according to your Walsh quote, our OC was almost at Cal for too long, and since he wanted to stay...I'm not so sure he fits your justification.Do please, continue...

The Pats and Colts are probably pretty happy they didn't subscribe to your "don't hire a fired coach" theory.
Yes, and while I await the ongoing results for the 3rd head coach for my beloeved franchise in 4 years - you'll have to pardon me if I don't seem "all in".Because of their actions - this entire franchise has a lot to prove to the fans before I become a "raving fan" again.Like Uncle Stan said - consider me Missouri. I no longer believe anything I'm told - here or anywhere else - I'm as well versed as any football fan as to what has happened at the college level, and in the pros. These guys owe us more.
