I can't find it anywhere, but I received a text from ESPN saying Marinelli is DC.
I saw it on an espn blurb that Lovie will bring Rod Marinelli in as DCbut nowhere did I see where that was for surebut I sure hope it is true, great hire, great coach for us
They're really taking this whole getting the old band back together thing seriously. I just read an article on JBF saying that even Raheem is in play as a defensive assistant.

Umm, no. That cat needs to stay the hades out of the building.

I wouldn't have a beef with it. He was in over his head as a HC, but he did coach a pretty good secondary once upon a time.
Anyone watch the Skins secondary this year? No thanks for a ton of reasons...As for Marinelli - Schefter tweeted this out. Does that mean they've figured out a way to get him out of contract next year? I assume they're aware of the contract situation if its being reported as fact...
Jbf was just spitballing on Raheem. In fairness to Raheem, you can't lay that Skins trainwreck on him. Terrible personnel decisions created that.
Don't forget. The following season after being fired Morris brought his defense here and decked us in our own house. Same thing with Dingy. To stay on topic, I'm happy with any coaching staff that Smith brings along. I feel he knows what he's doing.'
Correction, Dungy not Dingy.
FYI http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/01/02/cowboys-would-have-to-approve-marinelli-move-to-tampa/ Also read on JBF the contract could be simply bought out by the Glazers. Still wondering if Schefter's reporting took this into account; his statement was categorical - no ifs. Fingers crossed.
I think it would be nice to get confirmation of the Lovie hire first doncha think? Particularly after the escapades during the last hiring process with Chip Kelly, I'm thinking we might be putting the car before the horse!

Raheem wasn't fired for being a coach that couldn't win. He was fired for immaturity and general doooshbaggery. He was a toxin. They shouldn't let him in the building with a tour group let alon as an employee.
