Martin's turnaround: contract or personal

You get to talk with the players and the coaches.  Doug Martin has done a great job this year in my opinion, getting yards when there's a hole and even sometimes when there isn't one.  After two years of disappointment, however, my question to you is:  1) from what you know of him, do you all believe that this is because he wants a new contract, or do you think it has to do with his contract coming up or his wanting him to turn himself around not just for this year and those to come?  (not worded perfectly but you know what I mean);  2) do you have any tidbits from One Buc Place on the subject that you are able to share?
