I can't remember ever seeing punting as bad as Koenen was last year. It was so bad that it hurt us as much as inferior performance at more important positions. Did Koenen have a major injury that explained this, from which he has now recovered? If not, we need to bring in someone to replace him, not some scrub but someone who is then the presumptive starter, where it becomes his job to lose, and Koenen is the one who has to clearly outplay him in preseason to regain it. We can't win consistently with Koenen playing like he did last year. On top of all this, Koenen has a big contract.PR: Any idea what the plan is?
