Although Scott may be right, I think picking Carr at seven would get the same reaction as drafting Josh Freeman at six in 2009. WHAAA? I remember being one of many disappointed at Champps that day. Funny, a year later we were all thinnking how wrong we were, we had our franchise QB! And then.....Guess I'm hoping for a bigger splash, rightly or wrongly.
Freeman wasn't picked 6th.
Of the four sure fire first round QB I like Carr the most. Bortles has the size and arm, but I cant get over how unnatural a thrower he looks to be. Briegewater and Johnny M wont hold up IMO. Carr looks like a legit NFL QB. To me the talk from the new staff leaves the impression that Glennon will get more than a fair shot to be the guy. So I definitely don't think we reach for a QB, and if we get onehes going to have to be someone they fall in love with.

I'm sure you're right, going on memory not Google. But we did trade up to get him, didn't we? Doesn't matter, wasn't my point anyway. I just want another WOW in the draft. Been pretty good so far this year.

A lot of "translation" going on with the local media, isn't there? Who knows, probably yet to be decided. By the time the draft rolls around I probably WILL be excited about Carr! LOL So..........pretty damn good games on tomorrow...
I don't wanna get too carried away, but this kid Garappolo has an insane release. I like him a lot.
Garappolo is a QB that I had been keeping tabs on and talked about in July...A good understanding of the game...one of the quickest releases of any QB in this draft.
