The summons was only returned Feb 4th. MW was not arrested and likely simply given a summons to appear. Since you've asked questions such as this in the past, me thinks you have an unrealistic expectation out of the media and....in general..what kind of information can be found out if not directly pointed to it.
We arent asleep Unc, but also don't have to sit around search listening to police scanners or digging through every police report in hopes of finding an athlete.

So you're not monitoring the 670 (a true number) arrests of those named Mike Williams in Hillsborough County on a continuous basis? What, exactly, is it that you do?
If PR spent a fraction of the time you spend stalking Stan we'd probably have heard about it.

I know this is a serious subject and all but THAT is funny! LOL
PewterReportMC; well said. It's a minor issue, but Mike better play good or he will be singing another toon? " Oh where has all my money gone; long time passing".

Or perhaps not dealing with whatever the latest unfounded "offense" committed by PR.
Ryan are you local? If so come hang with us at Champps tomorrow. You and Unc can break bread and have a beer and get to know each other!
Did William's agent ever respond directly to the earlier fines report?

The question clearly was not pointed at PR. In the back of my mind it was really pointed at the Bucs.As a point of interest, I think what you just said was those at OBP do not monitor local police reports during the season-nor does any local media. With the Bucs history in the past and Schiano supposedly being hired to get rid of the trash, would have assumed it went hand in hand. Apparently it did, somehow, because some at OBP knew something back in December-but it wasn't made public-why?My question was one of curiosity, thank you very much.

Unc...in general...even for the team...it would be pretty difficult to monitor police reports to the degree you seem to feel is warranted. In addition, the complaint was not recorded in terms of names and available in public record until about the 3rd week in January. It took a couple of weeks to have the summons issued, delivered and returned to the clerk. A misdemeanor such as this is always going to fly under the radar and possibly go unreported completely. Also, as I mentioned, there are 670 people named Mike Williams in the clerks record. It's a pretty common name. So, in general, I think your thought process on this type of issue is one of unrealistic expectations.
