Here are my thoughts after the game, curious for yours.OFF1) It's Glennon's time now. Based on my initial viewing I actually thought McCown didn't play that poorly (not tha the played that well mind you). He made some strong throws that were dropped and/or fumbled. It's hard to blame the QB for not scoring when he doesn't even get the chance. But this season is over, we're playing for draft picks (already!) and we need to know what we have in Glennon. Most importantly, I think he looked better than McCown but I was really tuning out by that point.2) I was wrong about Zuttah. I thought the drop off to a FA center would be small, if at all, but EDS is terrible. Actually terrible. 2 bad snaps, a stupid 15 yard penalty, and when I watch him he just doesn't seem good.3) Somehow our RB depth disappeared. Rainey desevered to be benched, I don't know why the Bucs kept going to him other than James was unable to gain any yards and I guess we have no one else. Rainey was a key player in this game getting out of hand early.DEF4) Bowers is a (censored). This is a frustration, because I argued when Bennett wasn't re-signed that at some point you need to give your draft picks a chance to shine. He's bad. The worst part was seeing him get driven 15 yard down field. That happens when you suck and don't care.5) On the positive side, Dane Fletcher looked very good. Make some good tackles and had a great sack where he blew up the RB.6) This scheme isn't helping any player. EVERYONE looks terrible, from the rush to the coverage. The Falcons receivers were so wide open Matt Ryan was having flashbacks to playing in college. And there's not a lot of Cover 2 to my eyes, it's a lack of talent? Lack of coaching? Bad scheme? It's beyond a bad sign when players are setting career records and you're approaching a NFL record for a blowout. Matt Ryan left the game in the 3rd quarter.7) Goldson will be cut in the offseason.ST8) The ST coach, who shall be forever nameless, deserves to be fired. I mean that - not in a reactionary way, but in an actual "he shouldn't be coaching in the NFL" kinda way. After two blocked kicks, the team decides to repeatedly kick to Hester. Without a couple penalties by the Atlanta return teams, and Hester has two more huge returns. Apparently Lovie said before the game "our directional kicking is very strong." Oops.
