Terrence Fede of Marist is a 6-foot-5, 270 pound DE prospect that uses his violent hands, quick get off and a combination of pass rush moves to bend the corner and wreck havoc. He show good use of power to speed or speed to power with great effectiveness, a swim move and even a spin move is his arsenal. He finished his collegiate career with 30.5 sacks and 46.5 tackles for loss. He shown great closing burst and some nastiness to his game.Stats:2013 - 13 sacks, 18 tackles for loss, 59 tackles (30 solo), 13 quarterback hurries, 4 pass break-ups, 1 fumble recovery2012 - 9 sacks, 12.5 tackles for loss, 63 tackles (28 solo), 22 quarterback hurries, 3 pass break-ups, 1 fumble recovery and 1 blocked kick2011 - Did not Play2010 - 8.5 sacks, 16 tackles for loss, 72 tackles (27 solo) 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble recovery, 1 blocked kick, and 2 pass break-ups.2009 - Freshmen year http://youtu.be/_mcqO4yz9vE http://youtu.be/UwvbFn75WOU
How would you rate him against Clowney? This guy has great size and under 5.0 40 speed. Could be interesting if the Bucs are shopping to compliment Clayborn and Clowney is gone. Would have liked to have seen Bowers play better.
His level of competition is no where near Clowney's - however Fede has a solid motor, gives all out hustle and a myriad of pass rush moves in his arsenal - I think he is a 7th rounder or priority undrafted rookie free agent unless a team just falls in love with his tape and drafts him in the late 6th or early 7th. In his clips he reminds me of a poor mans Michael Strahan, while Strahan was at Texas Southern University and setting his school record of 41.5 sacks. He has the triangle numbers that should get him noticed and on teams radar's - his production warrant's at closer look and further scouting by teams.
You just gave me a new player to watch, Yucc. I'll let you know what I think.
There's a good.chance he's already on Licht's radar.
