Why can check swings not be reviewed? I've now seen 2 obvious check swings missed, one last night and just now in the Rays game.

Probably the same reasons why they can't review balls and strikes.Every umpire is different when it comes to balls and strikes and check swings.

Several minute delay to review an obviously foul ball home run. Meanwhile the Rays pitcher is standing around. Then a shorter review of a guy out by a solid step in the 9th. But we can't look at check swings .... pfft
