Hellickson was awful.

I saw that this morning. Tough luck for the guy.On a side note, the frekin Yankees trying to buy a pennant as usual. They signed that Japanese guy last week for 50 zillion dollars. He looks to be quite the pitcher. But its not unusual for those Japanese pitchers to throw 150 pitches a game. Have to wonder how much he has left.
Sounds like a decent pitching prospect for Lobaton. Big arm, not great control? 26 years old?Karns is a well-regarded prospect with a big arm, but questions remain whether he will stick in the rotation. Baseball America placed him at the ninth spot among the Nationals' top ten prospects. He had been expected to have an outside chance at earning a rotation spot in D.C., but otherwise would likely have served as minor league depth. Instead, he will presumably find himself facing a similar proposition in Tampa.
I think he will be good arm in the bullpen for the Rays in due time. Here is a good read on him. http://theprocessreport.net/rays-acquire-nate-karns/
