in case you dont know, every Chair before her (all white) offered tenure, she was approved for tenture but then denied by the Board

again, every white Chair before her given tenure. She's arguably MORE qualified then some of her predecessors
the first vote was 4-9 (against) I think
The Board is led by a White Republican General Assemblyman and predominantly white
they reconsidered, re-voted, offered her tenure, she turned them down and went to Howard
