A great movie with a truly iconic scene, Rutger Hauer died.

If you've never seen the movie or the "Tears in the Rain" scene, which Hauer changed from the original script, its worth the watch, especially if you consider the movie is from 1982. Way ahead of its time and, like Apocalypse Now (another great movie), almost never completed, changed during shooting etc.
"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die."
