and what great nonsense you post!! SHOW US the missing link doctor!! There should be BILLIONS of them!

dudewhat the f*ck are you talking aboutwhat nonsense?Mitochondria?Hypothesis?Do you know how to read?  Do you understand logic?movie references and allegorical nonsense to combat real information...typical uneducated christian-right

Escobar, remember  I compared you to OT and said you guys harm Christians .... see the comment in bold?for what is worth, OT is delusional so he is miles away from "typical"

And right, I thought about this after I posted it - I know there are a lot of intelligent, educated christians out there, and OT and his like do not speak for them, he is out there stretching the spectrum to a new crazy, so I don't mean to make a sweeping generalization about all christians, but I do stand behind the exact words I said, "typical uneducated christian-right"there seems to be this portion of the pie that is particularly uninformed and fact-adverse

and vocalOne Truth (and others like him) are starting with their desired conclusion first and working backwards. It's not that they don't understand biology etc., its that they don't want to because they cannot reconcile it with their strict view of their faith.

Ahhhh great argument. Can you please enlighten me on the rampant plagiarism in the bible?

He is referring to the Noah Story et al that apparently has similar versions in other civilizations.

LOL, it is WAY more than that.  The Old Testament is a mish-mash of various cultural religions of the time and draws very heavily from the Babylonian mythos and the Gilgamesh saga and creation stories.  It's really just one supra-cultural conglomeration of all the various beliefs floating around in that region.  Which is not surprising given the diaspora and the large population of Israelites that were taken to Babylon.

Says the "Christian". Is there any part of Christianity you agree with Vin, being a Christian and all?

look, Escobar is back to tell me that I am not a Christian if I dont agree with him .... lol.  Escobar, you sure are insecure about your status as a Christian, arent you?

This is the second time in a week or so you've attempted to invalidate the Bible. This has nothing to do with you agreeing with ME. Again you show your ignorance regarding Christianity, in your world the Bible means nothing and belief in Jesus is optional. As I've stated many times already, this is undeniable proof that you don't even know what Christianity is. How about you give us your take. What is Christianity? If someone says they're a Christian, what does that mean?

I am not attempting to "invalidate the Bible" . . . . I am pointing out to you, ---- through other's words --- that no matter how pure your intention might be, your approach to your faith is actually counterproductive, at odds with the basic notion of what it means to be a Christian . . . it does not surprise me that you ignore that in favor of more "I am a Christian and you are not."

You believe what I say harms Christians because you don't understand what it is to be a Christian. It isn't this "new age" movement, where the Church has become watered down and people are taught to accept everything. That's the new liberal "progressive" interpretation of Christianity, the version you clearly "practice". If I presented Christianity the way you do, I wouldn't be a Christian. I would be just like you, someone who sits on the fence trying to appease as many people as possible. Don't like Jesus or the Bible? That's cool, those things are OPTIONAL in Vin's version of Christianity. Anyone who says otherwise is just pushing people away, right Vin?
