In the last month, Gun Owners of America (the most strident gun ownership group) has filed briefs in support of appeals on DACA and Abortion. Also, rank & file Republicans who used to mock Trump, now line up behind him and the money that pours in from the NRA (and Russia)
Do we have a full on culture war with alt-right and arch-conservative mostly white voters (and Russia) uniting to try to change America? Certainly Russia wants the discord and Trump seems happy to help ($30 million reasons why), so where do we go from here? Is America having its own 1930s nationalist crisis with Populist leaders whipping nationalists over Hispanics (instead of Jews)?
