detection of gravitational waves rumor

Seems this rumor will be confirmed, I've written some here, http://wwwscientifichumanism.blogspot.com/2016/02/astro-picture-for-day-ligo-will.html and more here, http://wwwscientifichumanism.blogspot.com/2016/01/astro-picture-for-day-steven-weinberg.html - LIGO will make the official announcement on Thursday.- edit 1 - "Apparently the signal is spectacular and they even see the ring-down to kerr." I remember something about Kerr; googling and checking out Kerr black hole wiki, it's a spinning black hole state.
